82   Sunnyhurst

Open Prelude Saturday 6- Sunday 7, Main Festival- Thurs 1 to Sunday 4 November.

An historic hilltop house and garden with winery

The Sunnyhurst garden is stunning with the vibrant display of colour from almost 700 roses, colourful trees, fruit trees and many annual and perennial cottage plants.
The garden has developed organically with space being made for yet another spontaneous purchase, the end result being a gloriously haphazard display where one is constantly surprised,
Visitors are rewarded by pausing in the various garden rooms to enjoy the scent, the view and the birds.

Features: 700 various heritage roses spread throughout the property, a 120 year old Morton Bay Fig Tree that dominates the property. A 120 year old Heritage hom that is built from local stone and features a rare brick water tank. Grass tennis court that is surrounded by numerous roses.

The garden featured in Country life Magazine February 2017, here is the link which shows of the garden and it’s roses.
