A large riverside country garden complementing an historic homestead.
Maranup Ford is a garden of many rooms and pathways. The autumn foliage is stunning, with different trees being the focal point almost weekly. This garden was burnt in 2003, so for anyone thinking of planting it is good to see how quickly plants can grow in our “beautiful Bridgetown” climate. A feature of this autumn garden is the display of Nerines which thrive in our soil. Very new this year is the undercover area where you can pause a while and enjoy a coffee. Take time to walk up through the Caravan Park and see the collection of deciduous trees.
An added attraction of this garden is the scenic route you travel to arrive at your destination via a good road in all directions.
