A large riverside country garden
Maranup Ford is a delightful Autumn walk amongst the colourful deciduous trees which should be at their peak. The mass planting of thousands of nerines edging the cottage garden is worth a visit. This is a garden of many rooms and pathways with seating to invite you to pause awhile and enjoy the view or to eat your own picnic.
An added attraction of this garden is the scenic route you travel to arrive at your destination via a good road in all directions.
The Homestead was built in 1917 and while it is not open to the public it is still worth visiting and seeing the architecture and bricks which were made on site.
