A lovely historic garden
Open Main Festival – Thursday 2 to Tuesday 7 November.
An early 1900s classic weatherboard house sets the scene for this half-acre property, which is walking distance to town. Towering over the garden are majestic trees-gums, silver birch, claret ash, mulberry, etc. Rock lined pathways lead the visitor to a sweeping lawn and charming gazebo, reminiscent of a more leisurely and romantic era.
Avonlea turns 100 this year! Help her to celebrate!
