A peaceful, tranquil garden.
Prelude only Sat 8 – Sun 9 Oct
An attractive cottage garden nestling gently on a north facing hillside. The entrance is by a path lined with heritage apple trees opening into enclosed “garden rooms”.
Central to the garden is the weeping peach, Prunus persica ‘Splendid’, with deep pink flowers which bloom all through October. Winter bulbs of bluebells, iris and hellebore plants will still have some blooms whilst camellias and azaleas are making way for the early roses. Pleasant places to sit with a tea or coffee, listen to the birds, enjoy the perfume of jasmine and rejoice in nature at its best.
