An historic 120 year old homestead with extensive riverside gardens
Ford House is a distinctly country garden that has evolved over a 120 year time span. Trees range from 100 year old fruit trees and two eighty year old English oaks to small deciduous trees. The layering of autumn colour in May is stunning. The Blackwood River in all its magnificence makes a wonderful tranquil backdrop as it wends it way towards Augusta.
The Bridgetown Garden Fair Sunday 6 November 8.30am to 3.00pm will be held at Ford House for the 15th year where plant specialists will have their plants and expertise available. Garden related products and delicious food and refreshments for everyone’s enjoyment.
No entry fee except on day of Garden Fair.
